project info
By bringing the community together they wanted to give families and individuals access to film on the big screen with the experience that comes with it, loud sound, big screen and popcorn! With Holme Wood been an area with little arts infrastructure, the cinema is a luxury individuals can’t often afford. Alongside showcasing great films, The Sutton Centre wanted to engage their audiences in films that have a deeper meaning, allowing the opportunity to learn and reflect. Through the social cinema they want to help families enjoy time together, as a family unit in a positive social environment as well as a space for adults to meet - especially for those who have been isolated over the pandemic.
