Weekly female only craft sessions were run by the New Libya Society as part of The Leap Changemaker activity to bring people together through arts and culture. Women in BD7 identified that they wanted to connect, learn new things and socialise in the afternoon when their children are at school. New Libya Society decided to hold craft sessions as a way for the ladies to learn new creative skills and socialise together. They are keen to secure further resources so they can run regular sessions for their community as well as host celebration and bazaar events in future.
