The Bradford Eid Festival, is a completely volunteer led initiative and is a true celebration of community and culture. The Festival is normally a two-day festival which is the highlight of the Bradford Muslim summer calendar, and has been running since 2014. The festival has been successful in bringing together hundreds of thousands of people from the diversity of Bradford’s communities since its inception, from across the region, to celebrate the Islamic tradition of Eid. The festival is made up of over 100 volunteers from different backgrounds and age groups from different areas of Bradford. The volunteers actively take ownership of the festival to ensure it is a success with over 90% of the volunteers continuously volunteering since 2014.
