The Creative Place Partner program with The Leap is now in its second year, continuing to develop the skills and capacity of organizations actively working in communities. The CPP program for 2024 has had significant interest, attracting numerous organizations to create experiences for, by, and with local communities in areas where people tend to engage less with arts and culture.
“We are on a ten-year journey to push the boundaries of what grassroots arts and culture can deliver to local communities in the Bradford District,” The Leap.
The onboarding session, held on January 25th at the Thornberry Centre on Leeds Road, witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of creative minds from across the Bradford & Keighley district. Participants engaged in presentations and networking opportunities, all designed to strengthen and inform the organisations on the aims and values of the program.
The Leap has funded 14 Creative Place partners spanning across the district. We are excited to witness these organizations grow arts and culture activities, making a positive difference within communities.
